Laura Fedus
Laura Fedus studied industrial design and architecture in her native Lithuania, which laid the foundations for her minimalist approach to jewellery making; deeply influencing her design philosophy and the meticulous craftsmanship behind each piece. She constantly seeks to push the boundaries of conventional design, while remaining true to her belief that less is more. Laura’s award-winning jewellery has been featured at FORGE in the heart of London’s jewellery district, as well as at the Open Studios at Cockpit Bloomsbury, the home of K2 School of Contemporary Jewellery, where she completed her studies. Her collection for Shine 2024 expresses artistry as well as innovation in the use of precious materials.
Laura Fedus’ Multiple Space Collection turns her two-dimensional ideas into three-dimensional works of art that come to life on the body but can also be appreciated as modern sculptures. Every person has their own multiple space surrounding them. There are 11 rings in the collection and a statement necklace. Laura has a particular affinity for rings and believes our hands are the primary tools that bring our thoughts to life. By placing her creations on the hand, she hopes to convey a deep humanity without the need for words. A celebration of life through unique minimalistic forms.
